Customer Sevice Poor

Great Place to go on the internet. They have lots everything. & Good Prices Well that not worth much when the customer sevice is Terrible. They shipped the wrong Item , Mistakes happen. Well that would be all fine and dandy if they sent the correct item right out. NOPE they told me I had to wait untill there item was returned. I even gave them the re turn tracking Number. They did have to pay the trip back , it was there mistake, I had to drive 40 miles round trip to ship it out. Spend endless hour calling them or at least trying to get them on the phone. I'm Still waitng , they have not sent mine yet. Got no where trying to plee my case. Was just told no way. !! Its Not the shipping Department thats the problem it the company policies. Read them first. They dont care about you as a customer only your money. If they did care about all the buisness I was going to do with them, they would have Sent mine right out. With a coupon code for a % off next purchace. Nothing yet. Do your self a favor research first before ordering from these guys . There are many sad stories on customer Service. Live and learn.

THROWN OUT ON MY EAR

MY WIFE PURCHASED A PARK ZONE CORSAIR W/ EXTRA ACCESSORIES AND SPENT ABOUT FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT IN DEC. 2008. BECAUSE I AM A NOVICE RC FLYER, I PURCHASED TWO HOBBY ZONE MINI CUBS (ONE FOR ME AND ONE FOR MY BROTHER) TO PRACTICE ON. THIS BROUGHT OUR ENTRY LEVEL PURCHASE WITH ULTIMATE HOBBIES TO APPX. $10000.00 DOLLARS AFTER 2 WEEKS OF FLYING THE TRAINER PLANE (MINI CUB) AND SIMULATOR TRAINING I DECIDED TO FLY MY PARK ZONE CORSAIRS MAIDEN FLIGHT. CONDITIONS WERE NOT OPTIMAL AS THE FIELD WAS TOO SMALL AND THERE WAS MODERATE WIND. UNFORTUNATELY AFTER MY SECOND FLIGHT I LOST CONTROL AND CRASHED MY CORSAIR. I NEEDED A NEW MOTOR AS WELL AS A NEW COWLING SERVO ARM, PROP ADAPTER ETC. I WENT TO ULTIMATE HOBBIES BOUGHT THE NEW PARTS I NEEDED AND SPENT ANOTHER $100.00 DOLLARS I REPAIRED THE PLANE AND TESTED THE MOTOR BEFORE INSTALLING IT. TO MY SURPRISE IT DID NOT WORK. MY BUDDY WAS WITH ME AND HE OWNS A SIMILAR PLANE, WE HOOKED UP HIS MOTOR AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY. THE NEW MOTOR WAS DEFECTIVE. WE TOOK THE MOTOR BACK ONE DAY AFTER PURCHASE AND EXPLAINED THAT THE MOTOR WAS DEFECTIVE. THE SALESMAN TOOK ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO COME BACK WITH AN ANSWER HE SAID THAT THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS, EXCHANGES, OR REFUNDS ON ELECTRONIC ITEMS. I EXPLAINED THAT I OWN AN ELECTRONICS REPAIR BUSINESS DOWN THE STREET FOR TWENTY YEARS AND THAT I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU COULD NOT WARRANTY THIS PART THAT COSTS THEM UNDER $30.00 AFTER ALL I HAVE INVESTED, WE WERE TREATED RUDELY AND DISRESPECTED. I ASKED TO TALK TO THE MANAGER DIRECTLY AS ALL THIS WAS BEING RELAYED TO ME. THE MANAGER (JOHN SCHUG) REFUSED TO COME OUT. WE LEFT EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED AND MY BROTHER, MY BUDDY AND MYSELF WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS POORLY RUN ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN. THIS BUSINESS DECISION WILL COST THEM THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, ALL OVER A PART THAT COSTS $30.00 DOLLARS AND WOULD REIMBURSED BY PARK ZONE/HORIZON HOBBY.

Bad Service

This hobby shop is probably the worst in Southern California in regards to customer service. When you call, they act like you are bothering them. You can stand in the store and no one will help you AT ALL. If you ask for help they will clearly show their negative disposition. Furthermore, when I brought up the bad service, they gave me even more of an attitude. I visited this store twice, and both times it has been the same story. I live in West Covina and I was looking for a hobby shop where I could spend my hard earned cash at. They did everything they could to make me resent them.I don't think they realize that in an industry that is hobby/recreation related the product they are actually selling is the service not the cars. I can get a car or related parts from anywhere, but what makes me come back is the service. This place lacks any sense of service and I will tell everyone I know not to shop at Ultimate Hobbies.

Wrong Address

Just another Shop where people don't care ! Just becaus someone wants something It doesn't make it right for them. How about trying to sell them an alternative that they can be happy with. Especially with your return policy! I.d rather shop elsrwhere. (and I Do!)
