Do NOT Use Uhaul - Try anywhere else first

In all fairness the process getting the truck was not as bad for me as I've heard it was for many others. People not getting trucks they have reserved months in advance, and show up and would have to go to another town to pick up the truck. My biggest problem was two things. First, the truck was junk. No A/C and it was 95 degrees out. The transmission was going, etc. Second (AND MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT - KEEP READING) They charged me $55 gas reimbursement. I drove the truck 17 miles in town, put 2 gallons into the tank right before I returned it. The tank was where it was at when I returned it, but since they have your signature they can charge you and you cannot dispute (or at least they won't listen). The $55 is for 5 gallons of gas. So for 17 miles of driving, they claim it took 7 gallons of gas. I'm telling you do not use Uhaul IF YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED.
