Loyal Customer

In regards to the above review, I am hoping that it is representing the correct place. I have been going to Capone's since its opening and never experienced a negative event. The owners, who are brother and sister, are the most personable people I have met. They both exceed my expectations as owners. They always are aware of what is going on in their business and constantly interacting with their customers. And if there was a negative event, I am sure they would be apologizing. Now, as far as their Menu items, their hand tossed homemade pizza is the best that I have had since I have gone to New York. From the crust, homemade pizza sauce and real cheese and added toppings I rate this the best place for pizza any here in the South. So, those of you who have not tried eating there dont let a negative person spoil a wonderful experience.

long wait no apology

I went with my daughter and we ordered a pasta with butter and a sandwich. We waited over an hour for our food (I timed it I was so frustrated) I kept asking every 15 minuted and when it finally showed up there was no apology, no remorse, nothing. I even spoke with the owner who said he didn't care when I asked for an explanation, or a discount. Several people with takeout orders waited over an hour as well. At that timing they could have gone home and cooked a gourmet meal for themselves. I've worked in the restaurant business for a long time and I've never been treated so disrespectfully. I would much much rather give my business to Mangia! Mangia! or Brixx- hands down. I will not be returning. Even if it was free.

Finally, a Super Italian Restaurant in the Northeast!

Best Pizza in the area. Build them as you like. Or names like Godfather, "The Capone", Vito, Tommy, calzones too! Nothing "manufactured" here. Everything made from scratch. Other dishes too. pasta, marsala, burgers. Great touch is "kiddy dough" where kids make own bread and it is baked. Make sure you save room for homemade coconut cake and tiramasu. Great environment, 1920's music. Young waiters, but they are learning. Closed on Sunday, but worth waiting for.
